Description

Traditional Slavic liturgical language used primarily in the Eastern Orthodox Church across various countries including Belarus, Bulgaria, Russia, Serbia, and several others. This language also appears in the services of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and some Orthodox churches not in communion with the main Orthodox Church, like the Montenegrin Orthodox Church and the Russian True Orthodox Church. Additionally, it is utilized by Greek Catholic Churches in Slavic countries and in certain contexts by the Roman Catholic Church.
