Shell Protocol - $3,000
Shell Protocol serves as the foundational layer or "backend" for constructing robust dapps. By leveraging Shell Protocol, dapp developers gain automatic access to a suite of major projects such as Uniswap, Aave, Balancer, and Curve. It enables the seamless combination of various transactions, including LPing, lending/borrowing, or conducting multi-token swaps, without the need to build everything from scratch or integrate each project individually. Instead, developers can integrate with just one platform: Shell Protocol.
The Shell app represents the inaugural dapp utilizing Shell Protocol as its infrastructure. It empowers users to effortlessly interact with all integrated projects and Shell's native DeFi primitives through a single, user-friendly interface.
Prize Details - $3,000
Best Integration of an External DeFi Protocol: $3,000
Challenge
Description:
We challenge participants to create an Ocean Adapter for an external DeFi protocol of their choice. This entails selecting any preferred project and crafting an integration for it. Examples and inspiration can be drawn from projects already integrated within Shell, such as Uniswap, Aave, Curve, Balancer, and Sushiswap. Refer to the Shell Developer Hackathon Cheat Sheet for further details.
Submission Essentials:
The project must be an Ocean Adapter, constituting an integration of an external protocol.
Developers must demonstrate the functionality of the contracts.
Include a well-documented process in the project's README.md on how to run and test the project locally.
The project must be open source, with the code available on GitHub.
While not mandatory, a demo recording, no longer than 5 minutes, would be appreciated.
Evaluation Criteria:
Technical implementation.
Relevance of the integrated project to the Shell ecosystem.
