Disaster Management
Background
Disaster management involves the organization, planning, and application of measures to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate the impacts of natural and human-made disasters. This can include hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, floods, industrial accidents, and other emergencies. Effective disaster management ensures the well-being and safety of the public during emergencies, minimizing loss of life, and health impacts.
