Woo Sik Yoo
Description
Woo Sik Yoo, Ph.D., the co-founder, President, and Technical Officer at WaferMasters, Inc., holds MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Kyoto University in Japan and an MBA from Western Connecticut State University in the U.S.A. He was a visiting scientist in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Brown University from 1993 to 1994. He has been associated with The Institute of Humanities Studies at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea, as a guest researcher since 2019. He has authored and co-authored more than 400 papers in the fields of process equipment design, processing, and characterization of semiconductor materials. Since 2016, he has extended his activities to developing image-processing and analysis software for factory automation, material science, life science, archaeology, conservation science, environmental science, and agricultural research applications. He received the Solid State Devices and Materials (SSDM) Award in 2005 and holds 62 US and numerous foreign patents.
