David Foster Wallace

David Foster Wallace (was an influential American novelist, essayist, and professor known for his unique literary style and profound exploration of contemporary culture and human experiences. He grew up in Illinois and attended Amherst College. He taught English and creative writing at Emerson College, Illinois State University, and Pomona College. After struggling with depression for many years, he died by suicide in 2008, at age 46.
