Union Station
Description
Union Station is Toronto's primary railway station and intermodal transportation hub. It is located at 65 Front Street West, between Bay and York Streets in the city's downtown core. Opened in 1927, it's a grand, beaux-arts style building and one of the most significant and busiest transport facilities in Canada. Union Station serves as a critical terminal for VIA Rail's intercity services, the UP Express to Toronto Pearson International Airport, and GO Transit's commuter rail network. Its central location also provides seamless connections to the Toronto Transit Commission's subway and streetcar systems. The station is a historical landmark and a key part of Toronto's architectural heritage.
