Salvation Army walk

  • Recurring outreach Walk

This occurs every Friday, but our team is just joining on the last Friday of every month. A Lieutenant leads a small group in a van to bring sandwiches, socks, shirts, black coffee, water and juice to unhoused people in the Tenderloin and SOMA districts. Usually people currently in the recovery program give back by joining these walks.

The ultimate goal is that people will read the business cards we hand them or talk directly to the Lieutenant about the Salvation Army's recovery program. They have space for folks to detox, and recover. All they have to do, is show up at their Harbor Light location in San Francisco.
