Hello everyone,
First of all, I want to sincerely thank you all for your patience with the reviews. I truly appreciate the teamwork, stories are improving daily and getting edited more efficiently.
Aside from yesterday, when we faced an issue accessing Geo just before 4 PM GMT, you’ve consistently met the deadline, and on some days, you even managed to publish seven stories before 4 PM!
I also want to thank you all for your help with the fixes and cleaning. We’ve made great progress on this, and we’re on track to finish in the next few days. A few tasks remain, including:
Fixing projects and people after import
Completing and reviewing re-imported projects and people to ensure the data meets the standard.
Ahmed did an excellent job with the projects, he could potentially continue with this task.
News stories cleaning
Captain Moh has already started removing the "responsible editor is" tags and replacing them with the Maintainers property, thank you for this work!
The only tag left to remove is latest news story, and then everything will be clean.
A final review is needed to check and ensure that all related people and projects are correctly connected to the news stories. Almost all are linked, but a last check is required to connect any missing ones.
While not a top priority, we should also review the claims and quotes from the earliest stories, as there are some fixes needed.
Sources
Nearly all sources now have their URLs (top priority).
The next step is to add any missing authors and publishers.
Ideally, we should also add publisher avatars, descriptions (the lead from the original articles), and publication dates for the articles.
Other Tasks
I need to clean up the Featured tags, replacing them in Crypto and Crypto News Spaces with Featured from the Root Space.
I hope to finalize the work on Policies by tomorrow (or at the latest, Monday). We still need a meeting with Catalin before presenting them for discussion.
After that, I plan to complete my final proposal on Topics.
I've also been working on the Front Pages and am now exploring solutions to navigate older stories more easily.
