Explorers synch, week 14 of 2025

Hi everyone!

This week has been a bit difficult. Last Monday, important updates were deployed by the engineers, and that somewhat disrupted our workflow. I want to thank and congratulate all of you, you still managed to publish your stories despite the large variety of bugs that popped up along the way!

On my end, I tried to do as much cleaning as possible and report all the issues, but I haven’t always received responses or information. We talked with Arturas yesterday, and he advised me to improve the quality of my reports to help speed up resolution times. We’re also going to try to improve communication channels with the technical team, so for example, they can notify us when major updates are about to be deployed.

I also spent some time on Notion looking into how we could redesign the databases to speed up the setup of some basic automation, Sources and Quotes, so we can at least save you the effort of the first publication on Geo.

Arturas asked me to speed up the creation of example entities: People & Projects. Unfortunately, I haven’t made much progress on that, we agreed on voting windows for the crypto space, so we should be able to move forward more quickly there.

I made some changes to the navigation in the crypto news space. I’d like to discuss with you the way to choose the news of the week. It would be great if you could try submitting the stories you'd like to highlight, or if you have ideas for setting up a voting system, maybe on Discord?
