Execution of Operation Gift Raid by the Israeli Defense Forces

The Uzi Force landed on the north edge of the western runway, found and destroyed several airliners by wiring them with explosives. They avoided entering the military area of the airport to prevent direct confrontation with the Lebanese military.

The Digli Force landed south of the airport's open area, isolated the emergency services building and destroyed several aircraft identified as Lebanese. They also responded to sporadic small-arms fire from the terminal building.

The Negbi Force moved towards the airport's east ramp, where they destroyed multiple airliners identified as Arab. They proceeded to the evacuation point after completing their task.
