Over 8,000 people, including around 3,000 children, have been killed in Gaza since the conflict escalated on October 7. The conflict has also caused significant damage to healthcare facilities, including the Turkish Hospital in southwest Gaza and Gaza’s largest al-Shifa hospital, which were hit by air raids.
